By purchasing products from Vintners on the Brook, whether in-store or online, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms are intended to ensure transparency, protect both parties, and support a high standard of customer service.

1. General

  • These terms and conditions apply to all purchases made from Vintners on the Brook, whether online at www.vintnersonthebrook.co.uk or in person at our venue.

  • We reserve the right to update or amend these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and effective immediately upon publication.

  • All customers must be 18 years or older to purchase alcohol. We operate a Challenge 25 policy and may require valid ID upon collection or delivery.

2. Products & Availability

  • All items are subject to availability. If a product becomes unavailable after you place an order, we will offer an alternative or issue a full refund.

  • Product descriptions, vintages, and imagery are for guidance only and may be subject to change depending on supply and seasonal stock variations.

  • We reserve the right to limit purchases of certain items (e.g., limited editions or promotional lines) per customer.

3. Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are displayed in GBP and include VAT at the prevailing rate.

  • We reserve the right to amend prices at any time without prior notice.

  • Full payment must be made at the time of purchase. We accept major credit and debit cards both online and in-store.

4. Refunds & Returns

  • Due to the nature of our products, we do not offer refunds for change of mind.

  • We will only issue a refund or replacement where a product is found to be faulty at the time of purchase.

  • Faults must be reported within 7 days of purchase (or 48 hours of delivery for online orders), accompanied by proof of purchase and evidence of the issue.

  • We do not accept responsibility for damage caused after the product has left our premises or been delivered in good condition.

5. Online Orders & Delivery

  • Delivery options, timeframes, and charges will be displayed at checkout.

  • You are responsible for providing accurate delivery information. We are not liable for delays or losses caused by incorrect addresses.

  • If delivery is unsuccessful due to age verification failure, the order will be returned to us and further delivery may incur an additional charge.

  • Risk of damage or loss transfers to the customer once the goods have been delivered.

6. Events, Offers & Promotions

  • Promotional offers may be subject to limited availability, time restrictions, or specific terms. These will be clearly stated at the time of the offer.

  • Offers cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount or voucher unless stated otherwise.

  • We reserve the right to withdraw or amend promotions at our discretion.

7. Gift Cards & Vouchers

  • Gift cards and vouchers issued by Vintners on the Brook are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

  • Lost or stolen vouchers cannot be replaced.

  • Expiry dates will be printed on the voucher and must be adhered to.

8. Liability

  • We will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, damage, or expense arising from your use of our products or services.

  • Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability which cannot be excluded under UK law.

9. Privacy & Data Protection

  • Your personal data is handled in accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, store, and use your information.

  • We never sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.

10. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
